Great food nice etaff with full menu
Great fun, Great food!
Nice restaurant with reasonable price and good food quality! We ordered mussels and it was tasty! The missing star is for the interior space which was too dark in my opinion!
Nothing special. Small beer glasses and overpriced food.
Excellent food. Consistently the best fish and chips I have ever had.
Small but very nice place with gtrat burgers.
Not good. Wont go back. I'll give it one star because the restaurant was open late. There were only a few people eating and it took forever to get our food. The bartender was being very loud and obnoxious towards some other patrons. I don't know what the problem was but it made all of us very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to get out. Definitely will not be going back ever.
I come to The Pig primarily for their Burger Nights on Wednesdays. The burgers are juicy and delectable, served up exactly how you want it with a choice of a side for $6. It's amazing. You won't find a better burger
Had their black bean burger. Amazing. My partner had the fish n chips. Also amazing. I would totally eat here again.
Great food, fair prices, awesome bar staff!
Late night food is good.
Lovely place, excellent steak!
Taven is fantastic! She makes excellent cocktails
Inexpensive, good bar fare, fun bar scene.
Excellent food for a bar. Enjoyed the hospitality while watching the football game. Also love the town it's in.
Great meeting place for all of Saugerties. Food is simply and good. Closest thing to an English pub I know of
Iits just good vide at bar good talk and non portentous and good food
Got off the Through way at Saugerties. Great little town. Nice art studios and restaurants. Went in to Pig Bar. Nice atmosphere. Has a bar. My wife's Bean Burger was good, so was my Pulled Pork Sandwich. Very nice waitress. Would go back next time I am heading that way.
Good drinks! - kitchen being open past midnite up in these parts is a big plus considering pretty much all the restaurants in Saugerties close their kitchens around 9 or 10pm.The steak on garlic bread with mozzarella cheese sandwich is my favorite!
Drove by several times, finally went in for a light supper. Dark, upbeat, service was good, although I expect they will need to hire help if it gets any busier. Had a couple of small plates and was pleased at both taste & presentation. I'd recommend it.
Very unique restaurant bare great microbeers
An absolute gem in the Hudson Valley. Open very late, good food & drinks, nice funky ambiance and friendly staff. Nothing fancy, always nice!
Went tonight for our son's 28th birthday celebration. Staff was great! I had the Belgian beer batter fish and chips and my wife had the blackened cheese burger and fries. Food was awesome. Going back again soon for sure!!
Half price burgers on Wednesday night, can't be best and delicious too !!
They have great food and nice atmosphere. We sat near the front windows and they had a small heater there. That helped make that space even nicer for us. The people are nice too.
The food was just ok and the service was terrible.
Excellent Burger, have special on Wed eve. Also Martini Monday $5, excellent drinks
Bartender and waitress not that friendly, burgers are either not cooked or charred. Salmon was great. Unfortunately their judgments are cloudy when the "owner" comes around.they made some false accusations about us being drunk in public. They obviously were mistaking our group for another. They called the police when I asked for a water and used the bathroom, leading to one of my friends getting arrested for no reason. The police did not take a statement from anyone except for the bartender. I will not be supporting this establishment or anyone in saugerties for that matter.
It's a nice place for good food and good drinks. Staff is friendly and quick
Brandy fired chicken and shrimp is out of this world! Our waitress Fay was excellent.
Awesome bartender. The girl.
Open to the latest possible hour around here!
Great food , nice atmosphere . If it looks dark and closed try the door, it is likely open if the hours say it is despite the lack of open sign and apparent darkness. The mack and cheese is the go to dish here . The spicy chicken quesedilla was good , wife says frozen margaritas were good.
Very good food and excellent service. I highly recommend the Tiramisu.
My favorite place
Love the staff!!! Great vibes and wonderful place to enjoy the company of others. Great food too!!
Food is great. Beer selection varies. Pool table is old and worn.
WEDNESDAYS = BURGER NIGHT food ✔➕ Atmosphere ✔
Nice place to hang out
Whenever I visit my home town this place is good for an above average snack. Belgium Ales in the bottle!
Great food!
Stay overnight and was looking for food. Had their black beans burger and hot sake. Recommend to try them out!!! Hippie town, cute places... chill people :)
Great martinis. Loved that its open late.
Burger was pretty good. Pretty decent beer selection. Darts and a pool table were a nice surprise. Service was a little disappointing... They all seemed a little disinterested. Hate giving meh reviews but oh well.
Normally look forward to burger night, tonight truly let us down. While the hostess was pleasant, our waitress, Angelica, seemed to be having a bad night. Her disinterest in what we ordered reflected in what was brought to the table, after a long wait, it arrived cold & not what we ordered. On a side note, management might want to pay more attention to the quality of their ice & maybe cleaning their bar lines so a basic request of vodka & seltzer doesn't taste like your grandmother's moth ball filled closet. Do not like giving bad reviews, but truly like this restaurant & feel management deserves an honest review.
Quaint bar/ restaurant with friendly service and locals that made us feel welcome. Well worth driving off 87 to take a nice break! Can't beat their Burger night on Wednesdays!!
Small, but cozy interior. Staff was very attentive and I dont believe that there was any point at which I was without a drink. The food was good! I got a pulled pork sandwich and it more or less tasted like every other pulled pork sandwich I've ever had, but that's not a bad thing! Overall, it was a good experience.
Very nice staff. Just wish they had a disclaimer that they don't serve tacos but hard shell Asian inspired gringo cuisine. Full menu available until 12:45 which is a huge plus in a small town. Food deserves 2 stars. Bar is a 3 or 4.
Pig Bar and Grill is a great place to visit for great food and cold fresh draft beer without spending a fortune. The bar seems to be taken right out of the 60's. This is not a fancy place, but neither is it a "greasy spoon." We had the Jerk Chicken - word of warning, this was a 5-alarm meal and *not* for the faint of heart or timid of pallet. Drink specials most days 4-7pm. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and great service. We will be returning to sample the rest of the menu.
Smart food - Fay was great- New favorite spot- Fair pricing
